Beastlord Epic 1.0 — Spirit of the Howler

The Beastlord's Luclin-era epic. Warder-enhancement weapon with alt-warder click.

The Beastlord Epic 1.0 rewards Spirit of the Howler — a 1-handed weapon that enhances the Beastlord warder and provides a click-cast to summon an alternate warder. The Luclin-era chain spans Shar Vahl and the Luclin moon content.

Reward

  • Spirit of the Howler — 1-handed weapon.
  • Click: Summon enhanced warder.
  • Passive: Warder HP / damage bonus.

Chain shape (approximate)

  1. Starting turn-in — Beastlord trainer (Shar Vahl for Vah Shir, Cabilis for Iksar, Halas/Oggok/Grobb for racial variants).
  2. Warder-bonding phase — complete a sequence of warder-related quests specific to your racial warder type (cat/bear/spider/wolf).
  3. Luclin content step — named in Marus Seru, Hollowshade Moor, or Umbral Plains.
  4. Raid step — a named Luclin elite kill, usually in Ssraeshza Temple or Vex Thal-adjacent content.
  5. Final combine — warder-aligned altar, typically in your racial home city.

Why this chain matters

The Beastlord Epic unlocks warder-as-equal-partner combat. The alt-warder summon allows swapping warder types mid-fight for different roles. Raid-useful utility.

Custom race-class note

Beastlord is restricted in canonical EQ to Barbarian / Iksar / Ogre / Troll / Vah Shir / Froglok. On Crushbone any race can roll — but the trainers live in Luclin or Cabilis, requiring those factions. Good-race Beastlords should grind Shar Vahl faction (easier than Cabilis).
