Ring of Veeshan (VP Key)

The Kunark endgame gate. Multi-dragon kill chain unlocking Veeshan's Peak.

The Ring of Veeshan questline — universally VP Key — is the multi-dragon kill chain that unlocks Veeshan's Peak. The Kunark endgame gate, requiring raid-force-coordinated kills of multiple Classic and Kunark dragons.

Completing the VP Key is a guild-scale achievement. No solo character completes this.

Summary

  • Dragons required: Trakanon, Phinigel Autropos, Nagafen or Lady Vox (one or both, chain-variant dependent), plus Claws of Veeshan-aligned dragons in Velious.
  • Components: Scales and dragon-specific drops assembled at the Ring-of-Veeshan turn-in NPC.
  • Reward: Ring of Veeshan (character-bound, key to VP).
  • Scale: 40-54+ player raid for each component kill.

Chain shape (approximate)

Phase 1 — Scales of the Burned Ones

  1. Kill Lord Nagafen in Nagafen's Lair. Raid-scale. Drops a Nagafen scale component.
  2. Kill Lady Vox in Permafrost Keep. Raid-scale. Drops a Vox scale component.

Phase 2 — Phinigel's Claim

  1. Kill Phinigel Autropos in Kedge Keep. Underwater raid. Drops the Phinigel component.

Phase 3 — Trakanon's Tribute

  1. Kill Trakanon in Trakanon's Teeth. Raid-scale. Drops a Trakanon component.

Phase 4 — Velious Contribution

  1. Kill named Claws of Veeshan dragons in Temple of Veeshan and/or Skyshrine. Multiple components.

Phase 5 — Ring Assembly

  1. Combine all scales and components at the Ring of Veeshan turn-in NPC (canonically in Skyshrine or an aligned location).
  2. Receive the Ring of Veeshan. Key-bound to your character.
  3. Use the ring to enter VP. Zone in to Veeshan's Peak.

On Crushbone

Active. GMs coordinate server-wide VP Key raids periodically to help multiple characters complete the chain. Individual guild-scale runs also happen.

Notable components

Each dragon drops its scale or tooth — component combines add up to the Ring. Save every component; some are character-bound on drop.
