Halls of Honor

Mithaniel Marr's PoP temple. Paladin pilgrimage and the key to the progression chain at tier 3.

Halls of Honor (HoH) — with its inner sub-zone Temple of Marr — is the Mithaniel Marr plane in PoP. A fortress of honor filled with plate-clad spirits, Marr's priesthood, and the weight of the oath every Paladin swears. Paladin players treat HoH as a pilgrimage zone — the plane where their class's patron deity's gear is concentrated.

Geography

HoH is organized as a series of honor-themed halls and sub-zones.

Outer Halls (levels 60-62)

Plate-clad honorable spirits patrol in groups. Standard raid-entry XP. Paladin plate drops common here.

Central Temple (levels 62-64)

Marr priests and priestesses. Named mini-bosses cluster here. Cleric Epic component steps run through these named.

Inner Sanctum (levels 63-65)

Deepest HoH proper. Aerin'Dar (flag-related named) spawns here. Drops the access flag for the next progression tier.

Temple of Marr (sub-zone, raid)

Mithaniel Marr himself sits on his throne. Multi-phase raid fight. Drops:

  • Marr-blessed class armor — best-in-era Paladin plate.
  • Cleric Epic component — relevant to the Water Sprinkler chain.
  • Holy weapons with undead-slay bonuses.

Paladin significance

Halls of Honor drops the best Paladin plate set in the PoP era. Completing HoH clears and camping its named equips a Paladin with:

  • Marr-blessed breastplate, legs, and arms.
  • Holy aura trinkets.
  • Weapons with undead-slay and anti-evil procs.

A Paladin who has completed HoH has the PoP-era best-in-slot gear for their class.

Flagging

HoH is the flag-gate for the tier-4 PoP progression. Beating Aerin'Dar in the Inner Sanctum grants the flag required to access Plane of Storms and subsequent elemental planes.

Pull mechanics

HoH patrols are plate-wearing — magic resistance moderate, physical mitigation high. Main tank holds; off-tanks handle adds. Mez works on priest-caster patrols; ineffective on the plate patrols.

ZEM

High ZEM for the 60-65 band. Named-kill XP is significant.

From Plane of Tranquility via the appropriate stone, once flagged through the earlier PoP chain.
