Plane of Fire (PoFire) is Fennin Ro's elemental plane — a lava-and-basalt expanse home to fire giants, phoenixes, and elemental fire lords. One of the four elemental planes in PoP progression, gated behind the tier-3 flag chain. PoFire is the DPS showcase plane — Wizards and Magicians dominate parses here.

Geography

PoFire is structured around lava flows and volcanic island-platforms.

Lava Plains (levels 62-63)

Fire elementals in groups of 2-3. Ranged-DPS friendly terrain — casters at distance, melee keep out of lava.

Phoenix Aerie (levels 63-64)

A named Phoenix that respawns after kill unless specific anti-phoenix tactics are used. Canonical fight requires the raid to damage the phoenix below threshold at the same time as casting a specific counter.

Elemental Lords (levels 64-65)

Named fire-aspect lords. Multiple simultaneous spawns. Raid-coordination required.

Fennin Ro's Throne (raid, level 65)

Fennin Ro the fire god's aspect. Multi-phase raid:

  • Fire-damage debuff on tank requiring swap.
  • Add spawns throughout.
  • Drops best-in-slot fire-themed class items.

Why it matters

Plane of Fire is a DPS-heavy zone and a Wizard/Magician showcase. The open terrain favors caster positioning. The ZEM is set high on Crushbone to encourage progression-pace raids — PoFire should feel rewarding, not grindy.

  • Fennin Ro's Scorched Armor — class-specific raid-tier plates.
  • Fire-themed weapons — class procs with fire damage.
  • Magician Epic component — PoFire fire-elemental step.
  • Wizard Epic drops — secondary-tier for the Staff of the Serpent chain.

Pull mechanics

Fire elementals resist fire damage (expected). Casters use cold or magic nukes; melee manage positioning to avoid lava damage. Clerics prioritize Shield of the Magi and Mantle of the Magi for caster group protection.

ZEM

3.00 per the live snapshot — among the highest on the server. Intent: the 62-65 progression band should be short, focused, memorable.

Plane of Tranquility → PoFire (flag-gated after tier-3 chain completion).
